What to believe?

"All the world is my country and all mankind are my brethren, and to
do good is my religion." ~ Thomas Paine

“I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in anything else where I was capable of thinking for myself. Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent.” ~ Thomas Jefferson

I do agree with Thomas Jefferson, which was the third president of the United States. He was the primary author of the Declaration of Independence. He emphasize the freedom of the men.He was a man of many talents.

"Our life is for us to decide, our future is for us to build."which i can understand from this phase.

The most important duty of any religion is bringing happiness to everybody.

Thomas Paine is totally right. As I know, he is also the author of some other famous quotes:
"Belief in a cruel God makes a cruel man"
"I believe in the equality of man; and I believe that religious duties consist in doing justice, loving mercy, and endeavoring to make our fellow-creatures happy".

Not much to say about the quotes, but the effects of the picture are nice.
