Below is the correct one.

"I don't suppose that is what the life on earth is all about, to always be torn in between 2 or any number of things that be in love, communication, profession, anything; that's a fact through many times rather! "

!Cheers!Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01369706552968911627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13629499.post-44306067082969087392012-05-25T22:46:25.156+08:002012-05-25T22:46:25.156+08:00"So I give individual marks, for the sake of ..."So I give individual marks, for the sake of the student, my boss, the system; and I justify the individual marks given, even when I feel that doing so misrepresents the way effective communication develops or the manner in which the associated skills improve."

Dear Brad, the statement above made is classic the-spirit-is-willing-but-the-flesh-is-weak biblical angst, totally normal and am not one bit surprised.

I supposed flesh in this case relates to giving individual marks for the sake of almost everything else except for the effective development of effective communication---which is the spirit.

I can totally understand and it isn't yours or the boss's fault. In fact, nobody is really at fault at the highest levels of the discussion on this matter, and for that matter any subject matter in our world. There is nothing truly right or wrong, nor truly good and bad, because it truly can't be measured, if you'd think about it.

I have various comparative faces of my life in which I also feel and believe that something should be like something and fail to make it come true, not because I didn't believe hard enough or had sufficient faith, but a completely different aspect altogether, I suppose. The thought of 'system' and 'boss', both humanly designed, seemed like two stark boulders, obtrusive and simply besetting to whatever your designs on what something should be like; or the Spirit, and assuming the designs are honorable with respect to some absolute law! And I suppose your designs for effective communication don't contravene this law, and in any case I think I already agreed with you.

While I will not go into details about my experiences along similar journeys, I have great empathy and sympathy for you. I suppose that is what the life on earth is all about, to always be torn in between 2 or any number of things that be in love, communication, profession, anything!Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01369706552968911627noreply@blogger.com
